About the Book

The seed that falls in the dead of winter sometimes becomes the seed of life that rises in spring.

Late winter's chill heats up quickly when Ren Klinghoffer sees the only girl he's ever loved coming back into town after disappearing one dark night six years ago. The rumors of her being widowed and having a child appear to be true.

Andrea Vandermere Radcliff nervously returns to Springdale to stay with her aunt, afraid of only two things—keeping the secret that could harm her family and facing the beloved man she was stolen from.

Anger and unforgiveness plague the once betrothed couple. Will their broken hearts mend enough to bring them to the place of God's peace and hope? Or will the sins of others permanently destroy the love that once bloomed in the spring of their lives?

About the Author:

Sandy writes Historical Romance in the light of the gospel and with the heart of her Savior. Slip into a comfy chair with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and travel back to the first years after the turn of the century. Enjoy faithful Christian characters who have come through a spiritual wilderness into a place of hope. Stories of charming romance sprinkled with humor and topped with redemption. And be sure not to put the cup too close to the edge of the table because there are enemies lurking about. Sandy lives in her own happily-ever-after with her Bible doctrine writer husband in the west they love. They have five children and nine grandchildren. She enjoys crocheting (a different kind of yarn) and is also a professional artist. Guest Post:

My favorite era for historical fiction is the one just after the turn of the century--a mesh of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Life was different. You stayed with your family wherever they went. Impropriety was looked down upon, unlike our modern world where it might seem absurd.

Sometimes we fall prey to other's bad choices and suffer the consequences with which we had nothing to do. Our hopes and dreams may be derailed at times, God brings His children through the circumstances. He wants them to be blessed.

My prayer is that you will be blessed by this story.

My Review:

An Angel for the Cowboy by Jodie Wolfe

Great story of how Essie was determined to take care of her sisters by trying to save the home they are living in. Jud ends up at their home after being shot and they care for him. Essie is also a writer and had lost her inspiration to write. Will she save their home ? I really enjoyed this story.

Spring Recaptured by Sandy Faye

I really loved this story. When a book has a little girl in it, it makes it so much better. Andi comes back to town as a widow after leaving years ago and Ren wants to know what happened. A story that keeps you interested from start to finish.

A Love Not Forgotten by Linda Shenton Matchett

Chaz is thought to have died in the war but he lost his memory and finally someone tells who he is. He goes home and finds Allison engaged to someone else. He is frustrated with having lost his memory. What is going to happen? Read and see.
